No, This is not necessary. Please visit our homepage and make your booking, call us at Central Reservations or speak with your travel agent. Tickets may also be purchased at airport ticket offices.
You can visit our any of our airport offices or our City Ticket Office in Dar Es Salaam where you can pay by cash, credit card, debit card, or mobile money. On our web site you can pay you with credit card, debit card or mobile money.
On all of our services you are permitted to carry one piece of luggage with a weight limitation of 20kg except on services to/from Pemba and Mombasa where the luggage allowance is 25kg. In addition you may carry 5kg of cabin baggage.
If your suitcase is not full, you may add weight to your bag to a total of 32kg. For every kg over the normal allowance you will be charged USD $5.
You may check-in online up to 24 hours prior to departure on our website. Airport check-in counters open 2 hours prior to scheduled departure time. Counters close 1 hour prior to departure on international services and 40 minutes on all domestic services. Once the counter has been closed, you will not be accepted for carriage and will be considered a NO SHOW passenger. Please plan to arrive on time.
On international flights you must have a valid passport. On domestic flights you may use a passport or any official picture identification issued by a recognized authority.
Please call our Central Reservations team or go online to our website and the Manage-My-Booking option where you may change your ticket. You will need your passenger reference number and your surname to access this functionality.
In the unlikely even that we have to change or cancel your flight due to unforeseen event or problem with technical or weather, one of our airport managers will contact you and arrange the most suitable alternative seat on another airline at no extra cost. Alternatively, we will offer you a full refund. We do not take responsibility of your onward connections/journey with a 3rd party airline.
A child between the ages of 5 and their 12th birthday may travel as an 'unaccompanied minor'. This is a full fare ticket. Please contact our Central Reservations team to assist you.
We operate three different aircraf types. Our trunk routes are operated by the ATR 72 aircraft which seats up to 72 passengers while services in the Serengeti and to Wilson Airport (Nairobi) are operated by our C208 (13 seats) or our Beechcraft 1900 (19 seats). No. It is not necessary to reconfirm your travel. Please note that if you have a booking, your booking may expire if the ticket is not purchased by the deadline. This would require a new booking which may not be available at the same fare level.
Regretfully, we are not able to accept pets for carriage on our flights. We do accept seeing-eye dogs for those passengers who are visually impaired.
